I might have to rethink my mentality when traveling alone ( I do this all the time now)

I went to ATL solo last year, went everywhere in the city.... I met this really cool (and beautiful) waitress at Tacomac I think thats the name . She complemented me on the color of my shirt we chopped it up and since I was on vacation, I decided to get a little more bold than I normally am. I asked her when she was gettin off work and told her she needs to show me the more of the city and what it has to offer She giggles and says are you serious...Im like yea ( I had a shot of patron and was feeling myself lol). We exchange numbers and she gets dressed and meets me at my hotel. She was looking amazing We went to this little lounge downtown I cant remember the name.... Listen, I dont know if it was because I was out of town, the music that was playing, the few drinks we had, her dress/looks or a combo of all four but we hit it off on the conversation tip it felt like we were soul mates for that night . We hit the dance floor and started dancing. Heavy eye contact between the both of us and then BAM out of no where we are kissing on the dance floor lol like making out on some high school ish not caring who sees ... We hung out a little more but she had class at 7 the next morning. We spoke a little bit after that and eventually faded apart...I still think about her... Maybe it was think novelty of the whole situation that had me feeling like that but it havent felt that way in a while Just had to get that off my chest brehs...

I know all the coli-pimps who are beating dimes off with a broom stick will come in bashing me for kissing a random stranger but Id do it again if I had to. i had a good time

I think it was the setting more than anything else, anytime my ex and I went on vacation I'd forget all the flaws she had that were bugging me, we didn't have much in common, yet that always went out the window when we were out of town. The convos got better because we had things to talk about that we normally didn't.

When I used to travel solo I had to tell myself not to get emotionally attached to women, cause it was so easy. You're just enjoying life so much at those moments, you look past any and every flaw and focus on every last good moment. Maybe she was one of your soul mates, maybe she wasn't, even if she was 1 in a million there are 3,400 more just like her out there waiting for you my dude. As long as you have that same mindset you approached her with, you can re-create that same experience again.

It's easy to become infatuated on vacay, the combination of a pretty face and a new locale is an overload for the brain. The newness of meeting someone and then hitting it off with them, you get lost in the idea that they're better than the people from your city, and they're thinking the same about you.

I know exactly what you mean about the euphoria, there's this weird calm in the air that you feel. In a new place you have this weird anxious feeling, but you're not really nervous, you feel at peace and basically like :Thisnikka: all the time.


I don't envy anyone, but I do wish I could just travel for the rest of my life and chase that feeling.

I think I'm bored with life right now.........right now when I'm not djing or in the gym (and I've been overtraining lately so i gotta cut back) I don't know what to do with myself, other than gamble on sports. I really need a life, it's hard when like all my best friends live in NY and I live in Philly......I also need to focus on my production but I just haven't been up for it lately. I don't have to DJ tonight so tonight is a good night to stay and try to create.
