I hate dark souls, and preferred Dragon's Dogma to it greatly...

This though, this the real deal. You can tell its a Tecmo game cause it has ninja gaiden like tendencies. Especially with the blocking and evading.

That's grimy But the only thing Dark Souls about it is that you are going to be dying a good amount of times. Other than that like what @Tenchi Ryu said it has Ninja Gaiden tendecies. The game is more about keeping a eye on your stamina and using stances. There are three stances that you using for different situations. Low is for quick but, low damage strikes and being defensive and dodging. Mid is kind of like your all around, and High is for big damage but slow attacks. I'm just scratching the surface but the game is
