Craziest shyt, so I looked at the daily schedule at work and I see a list of people interviewing for a couple positions. I see the name of a chick who flaked on me back in September. I'll be at the door waiting for her like this

-I interviewed with this company before and I didn't get the position but I saw another position that I wanted with them. I reformatted my resume only to go through the application process and NOT attach the resume I reformatted. I thought I would be prompted to upload a file but it didn't and it ended up using the old resume I had on file 
-I volunteered to the cookie mom for my daughter's girl scout troop and I have to pick up over 200 boxes of cookies tomorrow and then figure out who gets what. Should be fun.

The fukking plot thickens. They fired my fine black co-worker. The only one out of 5 (all older women) that I liked. 
Now I gotta do her job. They passed her responsibilities over to me. I was due a raise but now it's time to negotiate. Seriously. fukked up how I've been here only since January and they've fired 2 out of a staff of SIX.
If I was fired from this place I'd be in good company.
Even tho shes married, I'm gonna text her after work and see if she wants to get drinks soon

Well hopefully her husband isn't jealous and doesn't beat the crap out of you. I know my 40 year old husband better not even entertain texts from some late 20's year old bytch yet alone go out with her. I'd turn that entire bar/restaurant out if that happened and beat her young ass off GP...unless she could fight better than me but still I'd try.
She just called to say bye so I gave her my number. Had a chance to talk about this crazy place.

Complete radio silence with that company/job I was having conversations about, decided to reach out and see where they were in the process. The head person I have been speaking with wanted to touch base by phone Friday so it seems like its still a possibility.
Quick update for the record I'm just venting/talking through the situation here hopefully not coming off like I'm humble bragging. That said, 10 minute call. The selection got slowed down with red tape but he thinks he will have final approval on Monday. Once that happens he wants me to come back in to meet with the new account director who I worked with on some business before. We have a solid relationship, not buddy buddy but on good terms. He was who I thought they were hiring.
Now the ethics part. If he gets word next week and they want me to come in it might not be until the following week or the first week of May because of my schedule. We are supposed to have decisions on raises and bonuses at the current job with them being paid on the last pay period of the month. Great because I will know where I stand on compensation and title. It's a little sketchy because I could be leaving the week after that with the bonus money
