Sometimes criticism isn't always bad if it's constructive to help the person being criticized better. Sadly in the times we live in that is rarely the case. All I can say is that if you live in a glass house you better be careful because like you said ppl can deflect that criticism and turn it on you.
The bad side is that being too criticized can make you overly defensive and vicious. You can cut someone down before they even get a chance to go at you. The slightest interpretation or hint of disrespect will make you chop their heads off. They could be joking and it may be innocent. But then you're deemed unlikable.

I know this just a freestyle but I really slept on fabulous during his prime. I guess I didn't check for him because it was so much shyt flooding up the airwaves.
