Part of it comes from my made up percentage of where i think people can claim mixed, it's always been 25% or higher to me - like someone with a white grandparent. So it's kinda just a thing where I'd be a hypocrite cuz i for sure wouldn't claim mixed lol

This the way I look at it:

My hair is curly and thick

I have a wide nose

I have nice full lips

My skin is melanated

Im black regardless of what the percentage is because I look the part lol. I dont look mixed
