um, so I've decided to try this new system with Cupes. (not meeting a bunch, barely any at all)
After a few conversations in the site to make sure they aren't completely terrible, instead of exchanging numbers first (I'm not in prison, don't need random phone pals to chat and text endlessly) we will meet in a mutually convenient (super) public place. If the conversation's cool and we get along, then maybe numbers exchange. I'm a really organic person and great on the spot, but also hate wasting my time, esp with giving out my info.
But Murphy's Law has me concerned that I'll encounter someone, somewhere down the line who's thinking a few things:
1) that I'm trying to set them up (ehh); or worse
2) that I'm actually trying to escort
and will act an ass accordingly.
I mostly blame you guys' horrid stories from online dating for me thinking like this but here goes.
Would you guys think either of these things if a woman suggested that to you or am I being paranoid?
