Definitely not a western diet.
Well, Italy is considered the west still huh lol.
But I see what you mean, and yeah. I used butter, I should of used olive oil, I need to get back in that habit.
If Americans can learn to eat slower and be content with what's on their plates then we can lose a lot of weight and save more money.
I really want to write like techniques that I've inhabited while I was in western Europe on how to eat slow and give a seminar about it. And just being easier eaters.
For example in turkey they eat pancakes at dinner, to eat pancakes or donuts or even cereal is seen as obscene, they see it as eating dessert at breakfast. But their breakfasts can be simplistic, diced up peppers with cheese and meat and maybe some bread and a cigarette or two with a coffee and that's it.
We don't need to force feed ourselves like they say we do.
