I keep telling people that we're a product of our families and community/extended families...that positive reinforcement through a proper rearing is bar none what makes the difference for us. I feel the same way...my child/children will get that upbringing in droves.

I've been busy working the last few days.
Got a job dishwashing at the airport so I get to see my last set of work friends and nemeses.
I didn't think it'd be this hard but boy my body be sore, so fast paced. The people are cool though, everybody is always talking some ish.
Funny one dude at my job comes in the kitchen and says "I hate this place, its so gay!"
I told him that I was offended and he asks me why. "Because I have gay friends and I don't think that's ok".
Lol he tells me that I'll get over it, I'm standing there shocked like
I was loosely joking btw, I wasn't offended but that wasn't OK as well.
Anyway, then he comes back into the kitchen and tells me that he's actually gay
Then my mind clicked back to when he asked me why I was offended and it looked like this.
Me: hey I'm offended
Him: why?
Lol.
Also I met a girl yesterday, I think she kind of likes me and asked me if I wanted to be fb friends. I said OK and she wrote down her info.
My manager is super cool too. She's relaxed but manages as well so its not totally a stressed environment. I just need to practice my speed for washing dishes and not getting so tired
