I just went to barnes and noble to pick her up a gift card because she is a heavy book reader and buys multiple books a month, however; there was like 25 people in line so I came back home, I might stop by later tonight since its only 2 blocks away

Im really pissed right now, in the past 3 months Ive spent about $3,000 fixing various things on my vehicle that i paid off about 3 months ago, well now my A/C isnt working and it looks like more money Im going to have to shell out, atleast it went out during the winter and not the summer

people are telling me I should get a new car, but I wanted to go atleast a year without a car payment

I realize why I don't like gift cards. It's the "jailing" aspect. If you aren't going to get the recipient something that they want, why force them to spend only at one place? I would rather just give them cash and let them exercise complete freedom of choice.
