I'm so picky about music, especially in a mixed crowd. Don't put on any kind of music if you're not sure what people like. I think I'm just cranky. I have to hear Adele warbling all over the track.

take that shyt again...but don't fukk with bschool if you dont have a plan, loans for no reason only to be ready to quit your job 2 years later an be back at square one :whoa:

yeah I'm planning on it. Just pretty disappointed in myself how I prepared for it. Really only truly studied for a day the night before the exam :snoop:
At the library today, really want to push myself to 6 hours of studying a day.
Honestly, I don't have a plan yet but the exam is good for a couple of years right? It's just a good first step.

i don't know what score/types of schools you're aiming for, but i suggest the manhattan gmat books (you'll also need the official gmat guides or whatever they're called) and buy access to their online question banks and practice tests. if you're disciplined, you should be able to study on your own following their syllabus and get your score up. i think i studied for 3 months about 2 hours a night 4-5 days a week, some weekend sessions at the library here and there and killed that shyt :win:

you should be able to find a used set of those books on craigslist or maybe ebay

@Bugatti Biceps how did u get into hacking brah. Were u a self starter?

When I was a nurse in July 2012, I had a patient that saw me sitting at the nurses station trying to pick a lock (I collect old locks from buildings post-demo that are 60-70 years old or older, been picking locks since I was 10), and dude hit me with the

"you pick locks? you into hacking?"

And I was like "hacking?"

And he broke down what he did for a living, and at that time I aint know shyt about computers really besides using myspace and blackplanet back in the gap to get on some hoes. So I looked into it, talked to my personal mentor who works at IBM, and he said

"fukk it, go for it, you'd be good at it"

So in January 2013 I quit my job as a RN, sat in the crib and studied for 3 months.

Got the Linux+, Security+, and MCITP.

Got my first job at a hosting datacenter and in 2 weeks was a Senior Sysadmin running the whole place at night because literally everyone else on the night shift quit.

From there I got into both system administration to prep me for being a security consultant. Couple more jobs here and there, got my RHCSA and my RHCE after I got back from Ferguson in September 2014.

Got my CISSP in Jan of 2015 and been working for global audit firm as a supervisor for a year.
