His head really did get big. Figuratively and literally
Anyone ever have to perform the heimlich? Long story short, my mom was choking in the kitchen, and I saved her life.
We're laughing about it now, but I swear I didn't think it was going to work. Thank god it did though, can't believe I almost lost my momma.
So damn thankful though. Best case scenario just happened, I started performing the heimlich and it ACTUALLY worked. Just seeing her walking and talking, got me feeling so fortunate.

Man so I 've been going to my old barber spot, and he's on his spiritual wave. Dude was really out in that water at one point. So a bunch of old heads go there now its crazy how spirituality will run out "thugs" and gangsta's. If almost like a barbershop for old heads, "spiritual" people and reformed criminals and kids.
Really crazy how much its changed.
Anyway this last time I went...man it was super enlightening, it was just me him and a older man.....turns out the older gentleman was 94. he looked about 75ish but he was walking around no problem, getting his hair cut driving and all. I had to ask him how he managed to stay so healthy
Man we ended up talking about, racism, love, women health, and what to expect growing old for about 3 hours. Until he had to go.
I've never had a conversation with anyone that old that had all there memories and was able to voice them so vividly and clearly. The oldest being about 81 I think but 94!
It touched part of me brehs I can't lie, at all.
The advice he gave on just being a person. Growing as a man and what it means to be man and not on some super macho selfish stuff..... it kinda let me know I was on the right track. He said he's had "white friends" that were apart or ignored some the most terrible acts toward us. He's seen some of the baddest most tough men reduced to tears over there children and some white people feel truly bad for the situation they put us in but most will never make themselves uncomfortable to change it.
And most human beings wouldn't.. It just enlightening man.
