A month ago i had wendys, something I typically LOVE.Overcooked fries, had to throw half out. The junior cheeseburger deluxe I ate was good, but I gave the other 2 to my sisters.
Im off fast food. Been eating salmon and whole wheat pasta on the daily.
Its not even that expensive so long as I dont splurge on bullshyt. I just need to get back in the gym cause im shrinking

Since this Troy Ave shooting at Irving Plaza and seeing all the threads associated with it...man I've been sick of hip-hop/rap and sick of defending it. Im sick of ghe public automatically associating any black person involved in music as instantly "hip-hop" i dont even listen to it as much or enjoy it as much as I do anymore...Im so sick of the all the negativity associated with it that just makes us look bad. And Im sick of having to answer to people on twitter who want to use this incident as a way to frame hip-hop/black people as violent or further criminalize us.
Like this shyt has been pissing me off. Its been pissing le off how no matter what I do as a producer....its automatically written off as hip hop cause Im black in the eyes of some people. Trying to do other music and get booked on those bills seems impossible but it is possible...but seems easier for whites and non blacks then for us. it reminds me of the last show I played here in NYC. I was booked by this promotion group that just didnt listen to my music but booked me to open up for rappers in Williamsburg. Long story short I played for an hour and a half...no body cared about my performance....didnt even get paid...I legit wanted to punch the cac promoters in the face....this was back in 2013. I severed my "contract" with this agency shortly after the show.

Media Diversified (a british publication) retweeted a tweet i made i response to this somalian girl's criticism of vice. She basically was talking about how Vice seems to present the worst in their documentaries about Africans and I agreed. And basically made a post saying how much I couldnt stand them. and how they constantly rely on negative stereotypes.
now i foll9w over 2,000 people on twitter...other than this girl, I am the only black person...hell the only PERSON (let alone musiciian) ive seen on twitter that has publically denounced VICE (i dont even follow any of their affiliates on twitter) while i see all these other people praise them. Considering what I do musically I dont care if this closes dooors for exposure I would turn down an interview with them based on principle. Im sick of seeing people in the booth post noisey vice videos with rappers...Im sick of their real hood documentaries that look like national geographic exploitiations for white hipsters...Im sick of their bullshyt. but all these c00ns and sellouts keep retweeting their shyt whenever they get featured on there. the only time I ever see noisey vice etc on my TL now is when all these hipster rappers retweet them. Somebody has to stand up to the bullshyt...i dont care if i burn bridges with a buzzfeed or a vice...im sick of how they treat us.
