It doesnt kill brain cells but it does have detrimental and negative effects @Yusuke

Weed inhibits your short term memory. This makes it harder to form new memories. Older ones are affected but it makes learning and retaining new material very difficult to damn near impossible depending on how high you are. So it doesnt kill brain cells. It slows and stops new ones from forming

So if youre a plumber or something and you understand your work well sober, getting high isnt going to necessarily effect you as much. You may not be learning new things daily, so its out of sight out of mind :yeshrug:

But if youre a student like me, weed can be very detrimental if you abuse it.

It all depends on how often you smoke

Edit: Also slows and stalls the growth of the hippocampus

"According to the authors of a 2012 study (published in the prominent journal Neuropsychopharmacology) the cannabinoids that occur naturally in marijuana have the potential to protect the brain from certain stress-induced disorders. While researchers still aren't sure exactly how cannabis is able to do this, the study indicated that doses of THC improved things such as short-term memory and learning capacity within study participants. While chronic stress is something many adults contend with, this research is helping medical professionals understand what a powerful treatment marijuana may be for the harmful effects of excess stress."

Im not a pot head but I dont agree with all the negatives that stem from smoking weed

I dont think its 100% good, but its not 50% bad if you get what i mean.

Also, majority of tests done on the effects of weed have been done by using that crappy govt weed you see above

Don't do drugs tho guys :hubie:
