Crazy you brought that up. I met a dude at work that been at my new job for almost a year, and he was telling me about him taking care of his 3 kids by himself from an old marriage. He divorce his ex-wife, won joint custody and put himself on child support. And it's crazy because usually the marriage court system favors the other side.

Im starting to embrace the struggle

My dad made me feel bad whenever I struggled, all my life, made me think I was stupid or wouldn't ever succeed, but now I see the beauty in it.

Im slowly changing my outlook on life to more optimistic, and Im starting to find my inner peace.

You see, when you struggle with life or with something in life you love or are obsessed with, you start to get excited. You get excited because it means you have the opportunity to get better and accomplish new goals in life. And when you "make it" or achieve those goals despite all the naysayers and the work youve put in pays off; well it does a number of positive things for your psyche. So keep at it and embrace the struggle, go hard every damn day and dont be too shy nor too proud to ask for help

optimism is easy when you have a way out.
i feel i'm at a dead end. all the issues with my father, yet i have to stay here.
all these issues with money, i have to stay looking for a job here sine there's no other way of getting it.

this is why i say i'm fukked, you and prynce are just able to see the bright side of it all. I on the other hand just want to throw in the towel.
I know i need help, i don't know if i'm too stupid to see the answers i need or my fears are just stopping me or both.

i've tried the optimistic route when i was on my own looking for a good job and a place to stay, twice I fell flat on my ass. Lost my job, lost my apartment, had to live in a shelter for a month... I felt like garbage the entire time. When I found a job and a place to stay the feelings never left and when i got fired again and left with no choice but to go home, any shred of optimism and positivity left.

might be best to accept that things are gonna stay fukked up for me. I give up.

i appreciate y'all helping me, but i'm a lost cause.

You're being dramatic. You just have to try and keep trying. I'm not gonna let you give up either. Never give up on yourself.

I wish I had all the people willing to help you. I have to deal with my shyt on my own and I get through it all. I always end up better. You at least have people willing to help you. That right there is something that should make you feel better.
