Does it really bother anyone else how long Black Americans have been living in the same conditions?

Even since we migrated up north in the earl 1900s we've been living in poverty and surrounded by drugs. Subpar housing, and subpar schooling

Its very frustrating and really frightening to think our people could be living like this forever.

I don't even know if I should reply and beg them to give me another chance.

They don't want me, and it's all my fault.
I'm gonna be doing marginal work forever it seems. I can't even get EI... am I that useless to the world?

Interesting. I would agree

Thats why I hate this whole "rap is poisonous!" and "this generation da da da!" arguements. It comes off as really ignorant. Watching PBS documentaries Ive seen the poor and dirty conditions of blacks in the 1910s and 20s

Then we see how the projects were developed in the 50s and 60s. This pic is before the projects. If you look carefully, you can see the US govt sign. Most likely evicted because of poor conditions and forced to live in the projects

Look familiar? Run down house, trash in the street? Yup:francis:

Again, look familiar?

Just watch Good Times. That was in the 70s. They talk about racism, the police, gangs and drugs. Again sound familiar?

And I dont have to tell you about the 80s and 90s, we already know

Same shyt different generation. Its depressing as hell

Then:
Her: Want to listen to some R&B?
Me: :russ::hhh::stopitslime:

Now:
Her: Want to listen to some R&B?
Me: :takedat::yeshrug::jawalrus:
