Kids love me too
However kids are a lifelong responsibility.
You don't cut them off at 17/18 and kick them out.
Some will live on you and need/depend on you old in age.
Not to mention, infancy to childhood years are crucial to the psyche with traumas and it shapes on how child will be as an adult.
That scares me.
You can't protect/be around your kids all the time.
They will be in danger.
