In general, I don't feel that black men are able to be the partners we are taught they "should" be. So when you're growing up being told about prince charming, stay at home mothering, man being the sole provider, or whatever, I don't feel it's reality. I think that black men may settle looks wise, like in terms that a good number of black women are overweight/obese, but it doesn't have a bigger impact, in my opinion, than a black man not being a "man".

If Black men aren't the "real men" Black women need or expect them to be..........
