I bought a bunch of new clothes today. I ordered some custom chef's coats and shoes for work. I'm stoked for those. I'm staying low key and I'm not buying anything expensive or flashy. LOL I walked into this store with one thousand dollars cash in my pocket and the clerks helped everyone in the store besides me. People assume I'm broke because I ride a bike, I'm black and young looking too. Their jaws dropped when I pulled that knot out and bought Nudie pants and jeans. After the knot came out they started treating me like they should have before. I forgot the effect that big knots have on people.
I'm back now! People telling me I look cute and shyt. That's money that they're seeing. I replenished my supply of facial care products so I'm looking great in the face. I need a haircut, I'll schedule it when I have time. LMAO I'm the only nikka you know who is allowed to park a bike inside ANY business I go to. When you got knots you make your own rules.
I've always made my own rules, no matter how much money I make. The money is my license so is my resume. When people find out I work where I do and I do what I do their eyes get wide because they know I'm at the top of my field, I'm black, I'm young, and I'm ghetto.
When I was 22 I would have done some dumb shyt today. At 27 I keep it low key and move smart. I don't give a fukk if somebody thinks highly of me, I think highly of me and that's all that matters. I'm good in the hood, good with God, my mom, and my loved ones. My career is taking off and I'm thankful to be in this position again.
fukk racism. LOL I was hanging out on the corner with my East Oakland fam smoking blunts though, hahahaha, funny thing is those bros own the store we were smoking in front of and it's in a very nice part of town where there are few black people and one black owned business.
They dreaded up, black hoody wearing, blunt smoking, black business owners. We are fukking out here keeping it treal. We all got German cars, careers or businesses, and knots in our pockets. fukk a bank.

I strategically call off during those times...but end up kicking myself when the staff who stayed start bragging on how fat their checks will be. Our staff got time and a half for working during Harvey, then got paid to sleep. Free meals, and your own room. You really can't beat that.
