Yep . I see it all the time. On Facebook, on instagram, on twitter and the whole nine and it's ridiculous.
I don't even understand why folks feel the need to even do that to begin with. Like whatever happened to just being real. Just mingling with people that actually want to be around you, know who you are and embrace you regardless of your issues, struggles and problems. Nowadays, people gotta be fame whores. This whole look at me shyt so basically everything is either calculated or they basically aren't being true to themselves putting up an act for the world to see on social media and in real life. It's only when they are pushed into a jam or they realize that someone isn't on that shyt, that they start being real. It ain't even some shame shyt. It's just being fukking authentic and being honest with themselves. I understand we all have to wear masks or can't show our true selves completely because we need to protect ourselves from potential harm but nowadays people really making lives with the masks they wear on some fake it til you make it shyt and they aren't making it. They lose themselves trying to be something they are NOT and WILL NEVER BE trying to impress people who don't even give a fukk about them. Some of them will even push away people that actually do care about them to embrace who they really are in place of these people who don't even care about them like that.
I blame reality TV and this whole celebrity culture for this trash. Nowadays, everyone wants to be a star because there's a chance they can be with these social media platforms and without actually doing anything.
I see way too many people trying too hard on social media and for what exactly. That's why I don't even bother. Nowadays, nobody even bothers me anymore except my parents because I live with them. Everyone else it's like only 1 person that contacts me which is my brother. Everyone else either rarely says something, contacts me if they need something or I have to say hello in order for them to talk to me and even that, I'm lucky if they respond back to me right away. Half of the time they never respond and I'm like okay.. back to me being by myself again. That's why I simply don't care enough to be bothered with people anymore. Throughout my life, most people I've associated with have just disappointed me where i don't even fukking bother. If someone actually cares other than my parents, I'd be shocked. You guys are cool and a few other people in my life but I'm like fukk the world until proven otherwise and I don't care. I always wait for the day that someone could actually prove me wrong or change my way of thinking but until then. I even ask for to be proven wrong but you know....
