Lots of Igbos were sent to Jamaica. 'Obeah' comes from 'Dibia'. Jokunnu was originally an Igbo festival

i knew many Igbo were taken to Jamaica but i was sure if "unu" really came from the Igbo as sometimes folks give incorrect etymologies. i know obeah comes from the Igbo (although ive read that the name also comes from the Akan)

I went to a twerking dance class with my girls even though I was already having a pain flare which made it even worse.

To add to that, one of the dance moves required us to fall onto our stomachs and "booty roll". It's a very easy move however during one (of many) drops I hit my right knee hard on the floor.

I'm feeling all of the effects now.
