my homegirl just hit me with a fb message a while ago...talmbout her and her fiance are trying to plan a combined bachelor/bachelorette weekend in vegas in may 2015 and is inviting me and my gf...im already at the thought of something like that being planned out 2.5 years..even moreso who the hell throws a combined bachelor/bachelorette weekend in vegas? vegas is not for couples..its for ppl to go and indulge in random acts of depravity and uncouth behavior which you dont speak of when you leave

Sitting in El Paso Texas waiting to leave to Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania. I called up my homegirl to pick me up and take me to my grandparents house out here.

We get over there and I finally got to meet my grandfather on my mom's side. He was in the army and was always gone when I was a kid. Then they moved to El Paso and he never came out to California when my grandma came thru becuz he hates LA so much.

I'm sitring there watching his mannerisms to see if I can notice familiarities. shyt was crazy, becuz I know where I get this calm coolness from now. Most importantly was finding out he didn't start to go bald until his early 60's. So that gives me hope. I gotta get back and see them again when I get a chance.

I used to live in Vegas and their idea is stupid.

They are planning the joint 2.5 yrs in advance?... they may not even make it that damn far

I don't see one problem with planning anything 2.5 year in advance. Certainly makes it more affordable. Just by chance you're still alive at least you got a trip to vegas waiting for you.

they're also planning on holding their wedding in jamaica or trinidad.....one of those 2 locations...its going to be an expensive 2015 for me lol

Yeah that's why they are planning so far ahead. They are doing the most. They need to just get married at home and go there for honeymoon. Destination weddings seem like a big hassle. At least you can start planning now.
