Just randomly saw my high school crush @ the grocery

And I was just thinkin' about her a half hour earlier...I haven't seen her in 5 years

I back around my old stompin' grounds, in VA (work)

I called my father and he didn't answer. He has a weird voicemail where he just says his name. I'm a III; so when I heard my/his name I started talkin'. Not realizing it was the voicemail.

Reminded me of high school. I got her with the "Hello...hey, wassup...naw I'm playin', leave a message and I'll get back at you..." I came back to the present and was like "whatever, stop thinkin' 'bout her."

I leave base and head to the grocery store. Mind you, I ain't seen her in 5 years ('round '08) and she went to ODU (about 20 minutes from where I saw her). It was around where her parents stay, but, I been 'round there mad times and never saw her.

What happened; I went in and found what I was lookin' for--left my wallet in the car. I walk back to the car (for the wallet) and not 2 cars away, I thought I saw her sittin' in her car, on the phone. I knew I was buggin'...until I saw the same person (barely saw her face) @ the ATM with scrubs on (she majored in Dental Hygiene).

I had to know if it was her... so I got my creep on and hid behind the medicine aisle right across the ATM. She turned around and left. I saw her face for 2 secs AND I'm 95% sure it was her.

...that 5% is just my pride not wanting to admit that I'm a lame for not talkin' to her...it was her.

I head back to my car (took some time to let her go), thinkin' she was walkin' around the store... She backed out in front of me!! I had a hat (and put on some pounds ) so I'm sure she didn't see me.

Brehs, that was a terrible missed opportunity. I'm sure she ain't married. We could have atleast exchange numbers...

I was browsing Franchise.com and I saw something that I was really interested in. It was like Engineering "classes" for children. More like play groups and they build mock bridges and just work with their hands in general. I'm waiting to receive more information for it but I have the perfect location if it were to work out and the start up fee was about 25k. I think it would be a good move with summer coming but I'd have to get a loan and I don't know how I feel about that.

If you keep making sound financial decisions, you'll get to a point where you can comfortably do both without a second thought. It will be worth it when you get to where you want to be...as long as you know where you want to be.
