Last week I realized there were some back streets that connected to main roads that I could explore on my morning walks. So boom, I map out a route using this an app and for some reason I was thinking it was close to 3 miles. It was closer to 4...and mostly up hill . I'm going to try some new routes this upcoming week and make sure I pay attention to the distance. At least I know what to expect.

I'm super excited about this scrap ass container garden I have going on my front porch. The sweet potato and beet scraps are sprouting, so that's a good sign. I recently planted some green onion bulbs, the bottom portion of a small head of cabbage and some seeds from peppers. I still want to try celery, carrots, red and/or yellow onion, garlic and regular white potatoes.

Not having an official social media platform has been freeing. I haven’t really been using my phone and a friend text today and asked if I were ok. I’m fine, but I didn’t feel like texting today, and if I were still on FB, an unanswered text turns into subtle posts or private messages. Lol I’m allowed to be missing for a day .
