It wasnt until about 2 weeks ago when i was dropping my son off and she came outside to talk to me, and we talked outside for about an hr( the most face to face talking we've done in about 4 yrs.. I i i just feel in-love with her again. Later that night she texted me saying. "I still love you"....

Im living hella frugal because I really want to have zero debt Is that the most you can put to it each month? Not accounting for interest $500 per month to pay off 50k is 100 months and that's like 8 years. If you put $1000 or more to it you're looking at half that time...the more you can drop on it the merrier. Does your lender allow you to make principal only payments? If so go that route. If not, when you send in your payment, send in two payments one right after the other. The first payment SHOULD pay off any outstanding interest and the second payment SHOULD go directly to the principal by default. Make the second payment the biggest payment.Like 50k
Yes, I can make principal payments. I set it up to were anything over my minimum payment goes towards my principal balance. I'll be making a bigger payment starting next year, plus I want to put almost all of my income tax check towards it yearly. I might have to revisit my strategy because My goal is to be debt free in 5 years
