I have a one on one today in a half hour. I'm going to ask him the direction of my position because we just hired a new girl and she stated she was told that she would be taking over the core of my work. If he starts that BS managerial talk I'm going to hit up the recruiter about the database admin job. He already guaranteed I could have flexibility in my schedule so that would accommodate for the commute.
I'm also going to negotiate for an automatic pay increase which should land me at 6 figures once I get the certification completed. I'm thinking between one and two years. I was doing the math and with the new salary I would be debt free in 5 months. It all sounds too good to be true and this isn't even something I sought after, dude hit me up via linked in. The duck tales anthem is playing in the back of my head.
