Agreed...But you can only play who you're playing..you have to measure people in their respective era...Babe Ruth would be an avrage ballplayer in this MLB...Wilt completely dominated the era

Those Kobe and Shaq teams played who in the finals...Do I need to bring up the 76ers roster?
..AI and the dudes that made the Rocky statue

It's funny that people say Wilt played in a weak era when Bill Russell (who was Alonzo Mourning on the defensive end) got consistently shyt on by him.

Russell isn't looked at in a higher regard than any of the GOATS from the 80's-90's for the same reason, nikka has 11 RINGS and people are still quick to put Shaq,Kareem,Hakeem,Magic,Bird,MJ etc..over him simply cause the era he played in was weak.

Of course its your opinion but just look at those first 7 seasons...:leon:

:snoop: at them giving the MVP to Russell in '62 when Wilt averaged 50pts and 25 rebs...Politics as usual

I've never seen wilt chamberlain play basketball. But I don't think that nikka was better then Kobe Bryant. If I'm ranking strictly on their careers, wilt would have to be top 5 though.

On a side note, didn't this nikka LOSE an NBA finals when his teammate(Jerry west) averaged 40 PPG?

True...But that Karl Malone, Gary Payton, Shaq, Kobe team lost to the no HOF Pistons as well. Dont get me wrong, I have Kobe top 5 all time as well. I just find it strange how Wilt is always looked over. I have Bean ahead of Magic even though he has 5 rings and over 100 triple doubles...Man, I might have to rethink that

Please do....Skip the team names and just give me the Hall of Famers please

Duncan,Robinson,Pippen,Iverson. :umad:

Don't know if you were watching the NBA back then but the 01 Kings and Spurs would probably sweep any team in this years playoffs.

Don't even know why you felt the need to reply to that moron :snoop:

2001 kings? Sure they got screwed by refs, but they were like the 2012 thunder without the clutch shooting. They would have been sodomized by the Heat or thunder.

To be fair, Malone and Payton were flabby and sick( Payton got MURDERED by Billups)

I just think Wilt is lucky he didn't get the media scrutiny that modern athletes Got. Imagine if Lebron lost a finals with wade putting up 40?:usure:

As for magic, If I'm starting a team I'd take him over anyone(even Kobe) I just don't think he was a better basketball player. Their careers are close. Magic had better teams and played in a weaker Western conference though

nah...Never mad, dont fool yourself. Thats a decent amount but not nearly the gauntlet you make it out to be. Especially since there are potentially 4 HOFers on this years Celtics alone, 2 or 3 on the Heat. The Spurs were the only real threat then. As far as the Kings of yester year, dont confuse a great matchup with a great team. They were a decent playoff contender with a great home court advantage. They would not beat this years Thunder, Spurs, Heat, Celtics. They relied way too much on the 3 ball down the stretch, I'm still trying to erase the memory of Peja and Bibby jacking up airballs now.

:snoop: at the amount of Wilt disrespect in here. IMO dude is the GOAT. If he had better teammates he may have had more rings but that still doesn't tarnish his legacy in my eyes

You're missing the point. We all think the teams of our adolesence are the best that ever did it. To think the '01 choking Kings would run through the teams in this years playoffs is a borderline bannable statement and for you to blindly cosign it is even more laughable. Picture Bibby tryna guard Westbrook or Parker. Floppin Vlade on Bynum or Gasol :rudy:
