In happy with another LOX album . But the sequel thing is getting tired .

They're trying to operate the same way Hollywood does with remakes . Feed the masses a known brand for financial contingency , because they think the familiar will sell.

In hip hop though . The music speaks for itself . You dont need to rehash recognizable branding and revisit past works JUST to keep people in their comfort zone.

If the albums tight . And the musics right . The fans and critics will show you the love you need . There's no need to treat the listeners as idiots . Take a risk .

why the fukk do rappers think sequels to albums is a good idea. it's not like there's a story or something.

To me Biggie did it best cause "Life After Death" literally picked up from "Ready To Die" like a damn movie. But I agree, this sequel thing is getting tired. After I heard "War Report 2", I was like n!ggas need to stop this ish, you are ruining the original legacy by using the title. Thank God Jay Z never did "Reasonable Doubt 2", I'm still scared he will do it. It's like dudes are only doing it to get attention. I liked "The New LOX Order" title better but from a marketing standpoint I understand "We are the Streets 2" to get people in the hood excited. I like what someone else posted, "Mo Money, Mo Power, Mo Respect" LOL.

That is where a lot of potential fans get turned off at the artist cause they take them for dummies that don't know shyt. That is why people purposely bootleg and download.

Doing half your album then going on tour then finish the rest isn't a good idea. Especially coming from one of the most artistically shallow rappers in the game.

Jada will probably be like "ok I've done my hard track, my party track, and my deep track. Now I need posse track and west coast track..."

At this point, sheek is the most exciting lox member.
