Lol at the lox inspiring mase. They came out about the same time.

Mase was rapping completely different before The Lox. He was hardcore/murderous rapper. They were all around each other for years, only one of them changed their styles. You figure it out.

They are technically skilled and dropped dope mixtapes, yeah, but what about the albums that makes any MC into a legend?

exactly well fab first album was a personal classic to me {imo}

and cam got a few classic albums imo so he imo should'nt be mention with fab and banks.

Nah Styles and Sheek were slick as fukk. They only got extra violent til later on.

I remember their early materials (I'm in my 30's) but still Jada stands out in that department, IMO.
I still think RD Jay-z was the quintessential slick talking street hustler rap.

Jada (or Lox) wasn't as cerebral or intricate as Jigga, though - I see how their style could be easier to emulate for other rappers, in that sense.
