Extinct
:picard:Breh this album magically put a doo rag over my head and gave me felonies I didn't know existed. That's how hard the album was. Coming from their first album which was okay at best, you could feel that anger from that shady Diddy deal. I was about to ride on Puffy myself and I was 15 at the time of bumping that shyt, that's how flames it was:wow:

Only on the internet I hear that this album was weak. I thought this shyt went double plat the way the streets play it man
This shyt was borderline trash, the production was awful, there's like 4 really dope songs on there imo. But you're right, EVERYBODY had this album, I could quote this whole shyt after like the first 3 days it was on the street I played it so much. Imo, all the Lox albums (group and solos) have been weak, the best one was Styles first one and even that is only like a 3.5 to me, weak production.

Al I know, from September 1999 to May 2000, all the legit MCs dropped projects solidifying their spotd

LOX
Ghostface Killah
Beanie Sigel
Rakim
Nas
Hov
Busta
Redman and Method Man

Maybe the urgency of Y2K really made people come out with albums like that in this time period.

i think i'm one of the few here that rock with the debut more than this. "Money power respect" aged better to me and the title track is better than anything on "We are the streets" :yeshrug:

also, how the f*ck is swizz gonna produce the best beat on MPR with "All for the love" but couldn't duplicate anything close to it on "We are the streets"?? :heh:
