Sad thing in this culture are questions like this. We put it on sole players and ask if they will win a chip. The answer lies within the franchise and the supporting cast put around him. This isn’t boxing where on can control wins and loses. If the Lakers put the right team around him, with the right coach, yes, Luka might win a chip. But if he doesn’t it won’t be his fault, it’ll be the fault of teams like OKC, Minnesota, Houston, Milwaukee, NY, and other teams who have legit chances to win. Unfortunately he’s not in control of his own destiny. It’s on the new owners and Rob. Only one player has controlled his destiny, but it only got him but so far, more losses than wins.

Why would I care either way? Some of you guys put more weight on how important this shyt is. Outside of specific basketball discourse, this shyt has zero impact on my life, and within basketball discourse, I'm not bothered with people who have a different opinion. Never going to get one as the best player. The mavs built the perfect team around him and got smoked by Boston. Series wasn't really that competitive and that's with White Wilt missing half of it.

He doesn't play defense, doesn't move without the ball, and doesn't stay in shape. You need literally every aspect of a basketball team other than scoring if Luka is your best player.
