Dam that ban bet is looking pretty scary right now because I thought Lakers would have common sense and fire Byron Scott :wow:

I'm thinking Scott gets one more year. The Farewell Tour gets him a little break, and the organization does not want to have multiple fired coaches still on payroll. Also bad when you have young players and too frequent of coaching changes.

Scott is a team option. They shouldn't pick it up.

Breh they have an contract option for this next year, its not like they would legit be firing him. I mean, i guess if they dont have anybody in mind they should just keep him but still, its not like they would be onthe hook for him if they did let him go.

How would yall feel about blatt to replace byron?

For what?

We need an established winner.
Scott is inept offensively and Blatt is a weak as a head coach. :heh:

as for the kobe farewell tour. Thought that shyt would never end. Kobe was great for us but IMO he should have been gone 3 years ago.(5 years ago if we were really about winning). :manny:

I am going with 0 expectations after a few offseasons.

We need to address our SF and C spots.

DREAM GOAL - Durant, & Whiteside.

Realistic goal - Bazemore, Barnes (maybe), & Ezeli/Noah.

Nick Young is most likely getting waived, Mitch has been trying to trade the guy for a while now and no one wants him. I am really not sure about Clarkson like rest of the fans, but Lakers are most likely re-signing him. I don't expect us to make the playoffs next year unless we get some superstar.

Looks like Byron will pretty much stay too.

Really hope we get our draft pick

I got one for y'all. Called Lakers do a big 3.

Move Russell to SG which is where he should be.

Get the #1 pick. Trade it to Atlanta for Jeff Teague. Draft a bpa with the early 2nd.

Start

Teague
Russell
Brown
Randle
???

Look for an team for Young.
Resign Hibbert, Huetas, Black and Bass.

Now start:

Teague
Russell
Brown
Randle
Hibbert

Sign Durant and LeBron

Start

Teague
Russell
Durant
James
Hibbert

Most balanced LeBron team I've seen. Title locks. Elite. Two superstar, one all star and one potential star. With a very good bench as well. Teague contract helps in this case. He barely makes more than Lou Williams but his value is there times Lou's value.
What world are you living in where you think Teague is worth a top 3 pick? :mjlol:Throw in Horford, bazemore and couple of atlanta woman and we will consider it

Man if that title really happened, that'd be incredible. Close to the biggest turnaround OAT as well. shyt ain't happening with Byron tho, I'll tell you that rn (or with Hibbert starting or Nick Young on roster)

I think my dream summer from a free agency/draft standpoint is as follows:

Draft:

Brandon Ingram with their first pick
Gary Payton II in the second round
Daniel Ochefu (if they acquire another second rounder)

Free Agency:

Nicolas Batum
Festus Ezeli
Ian Mahinmi
Courtney Lee

Trying to be realistic with the options.
