I think he's definitely not on that level.

He's respectable though.

Honestly I'm more into voice, delivery, cadence, and flow over high quality production than I am high level lyricism...unless the lyrics are just absolutely trash. I used to be mostly into lyrics and lyricism in the 90's and early 00's, and then I started working with producers and the way I listened to music changed.

So in that regard, Game has always been pretty dope to me, because he's always had a solid ear for production, and he almost never sounds terrible on tracks.

thats what i was saying. hes a good artist, he picks good beats, he has a solid delivery. you dont have to be a lyricist to be a good rapper

True, but this album wasn't received well cause the singles were horrendous, and 50 was making more news with antics and disses than the actual product. The dope tracks were really dope (Ski Mask Way, Baltimore Love Think, Don't Need'em, Rider Music, Position of Power), but after looking at the track list, there's upwards of 8 songs that you can just get rid of.

i gotta strongly disagree with this, 50 was in his bag with GRODT. especially with these tracks. i would never put that album over his first major album. you could literally feel the hunger on these songs.

nikkas just wanted a GRODT pt.2 that they dismissed it, plus it didnt help he rolled out the album with Candy Shop as the lead single, even tho thats what helped it do 1.4 mil in 5 days

Massacre is a strong 8.5 /10 album

Doctors advocate was good wen it came out I copped both. but all game can do is try to emulate 50 and name drop. Game can't go two lines without mentioning 50 ( the same guy he's constantly trying to shyt on. On some bipolar shyt it's corny.)and dre. that doctors advocate song game crying over missing dre. Massacre is more authentic (has some stupid filler tracks tho) and 50 is a legend, game is not. Games best album is documentary and that's basically a Curtis Jackson album.
