point is orlando has plenty of holes to fill on that roster and by removing all cap flexibility and picks, they're dramatically reducing the ways that they can fill them with quality players - and this is all while its not even clear paolo/franz/suggs is even gonna work. and the best part about having other teams' picks is that they can do the tanking for you while you keep building lol...

Historically speaking a team in Orlando’s position wants to trade the picks now because in 5 years who knows who or what they are as a team. It’s always the later picks that come back to haunt a team.
