One could argue they’re more valuable than ever

But in the case of Orlando, in 2028 and 2030 Paolo & Franz will be in theory just entering their primes so they’re banking that these will be late picks

That 2026 Suns pick next year is the real value here.
its pretty much Bane for that pick and KCP when you break it down:manny:

This whole picks argument is like saying you wouldn’t trade Tristan Da Silva,Anthony Black ,Jett Howard and a 1st for Desmond Bane

We all would do it in a heartbeat…and two of those nikkas was lottery picks :dead:

NBA 2K fukked A lot of nikkas heads up .

nikkas is not going to find the next Giannis with those picks .
they just read the headline but dont break it down or dont even know Orlando still has a first round pick this year AND the next ..they would only NOT have a pick in 2028 and 2030 :manny:

It's the opportunity cost. Is it worth giving up all that for Bane when better players may have been available. They still don't have a real PG.
which players ? you think they didnt try to get a better player if they could ? :jbhmm::heh:

Awful trade for orlando. Trading market is cooked. Dudes giving up all future assets for top 60 players??
There's really no more space on the roster to keep piling on picks. Specially when black, Suggs, Howard (still not sold on him) and this other guy from Michigan we got, are probably gonna be here for awhile, ideally we better off with vets and letting those low reward picks turn into something now

Nah Brian insists that it was because he has been a failure, had his worst numbers this past season in his whole career, and worth too much money
He’s been a failure there because they don’t have a PG. It’s not a coincidence that his numbers completely feel off compared to where they were in previous years.

They have no one to blame but themselves as they’re stunting the growth of development of everyone on that roster without getting them a PG.

I was in the grocery store earlier and saw this trade on my phone and couldn't believe it :mjlol:

Picks aside, I'm just not sure Bane makes the Magic any better than what they currently are, which is a first-round exit, second round at best.

For Memphis, KCP, while not the same elite 3&D guy as he was in LA and Denver, is still pretty good to have some impact, Cole Anthony is a decent contributor.
How does a near 20/6/5 guy on 50/40/90 guy not make them better especially when he’s an efficient high volume gunner and they were the worst shooting team last year

The East is wide open
