Warriors wanted this? I guess to keep the asset?
:francis:
Kerr is going to f-up the GMs plan. Kuminga should have signed the one year deal to flip the bird to them. Then again he would probably get a vet min, prove it contract next time around.

Both sides lost.
:mjlol:
I think they finna try and trade him ?

That’s the plan all along. He’s an asset. They can’t afford to lose him for nothing. The issue is what is his worth?

Would the Bulls trade him for Giddey straight up? Spurs trading Vessell or Johnson? Name a 20-25M player a team would trade for him?

system is not "off"

the players are off

The warriors team is top 5 in terms of shot quality, but 20th in offense as of last week

Kerr's system generates good looks, but the guards and wings cant make shots reliably

also, the way people consume the game is so fukking bad. There have been numerous breakdowns on why Kuminga doesnt get burn. His athleticism is overrated, because it's only seen in dunking. "He's so athletic", but we don't see it on the defensive end? We don't see it in terms of hand eye coordination? He's one of the worst offensive players on the team. His bread and butter go-to move is a midrange shot that she shoots in the bottom percentile of the league. He's not respected from three, he's the best rebounder on the team, but he's already had games where he got ZERO rebounds , he can't pass with his 1:1 assist-to-turnover ratio, he has motor/attitude problems that we've seen for years and was scouted when he was in the G-League Ignite, doesn't screen well for others, and doesn't have the IQ/patience to make simple reads for the fundamental actions that Kerr runs

But we are gonna ignore all that because "he'S So ATHleTiC!"

gimme a fukking break. He should've been traded for players that are actually useful 3 seasons ago

i agree

i said he should have been "traded 3 seasons ago" in the post u quoted

my issue was with the tweet by Jason Maples, saying the system is the issue, when it is objectively not the issue :coffee:

That’s where player development should come in. Kerr is a ceiling raiser as far as coaches go, not a floor raiser.
