The people being labeled as fake militants aren't looking for "black empowerment." yo, this thread is bugging me out because i talk about black issues, personally and stage, all the time but I rarely get into with other posters. I did minutes last night and about 6 were about race.

They'll come in making all these topics about how White people are the devil, how Black women are puppets of White supremacy, derailing potentially thought provoking discussions with a bunch of cac/c00n accusations, etc. Yet they refuse to explain what makes them an authority. To explain what they are doing that everyone else on the board isn't.

I have always been under the impression that 80% of people on this board are

White people pretending to be black...

The TCP (the typical coli poster) wavers between to many extremes on this site for it to be any other way...I see way to many posters who follow a rational line of thinking when dealing with something or someone white (we need to wait for more evidence on what Tony Stewart did yeah he killed a person but he shouldn't be charged with anything) but then jump to an irrational line of thinking when it deals with something or someone black (Ray Rice hit a woman and only got a 2 game suspension this is unfair he's a barbarian he should be suspended all year)

There are 3 posters on this site who have completely jumped the shark to the point that I can only assume leading a white life off line and a black one online has left them with some permanent mental stability issues...bu then again if they were faking it from the get go then they probably already had problems...

I've noticed this militant term has been used by quite a few posters on here. It's used to marginalize those to speak frankly on race issues and are in favor of black empowerment. Why is that a negative? People talk about all sorts of shyt here on the coli, but when black posters talk about racism in a real way, and try to make it clear for those with their heads up their asses...they get labeled as militant? I can understand white posters doing this, because it's in your best interests to protect white supremacy, i'm not talking to you. But to my fellow black posters, I'm gonna need your attention here.

Some of you nikkas who throw this label around need to ask yourselves, do you stick up for yourself as a man? As a woman? Or do you let people get over on you, and are thus resentful or those who who don't, and those who keep it real on race issues? Are you quick to belittle a nikka, but then don't stand up to some cac who's being an a$$hole to you?

I'll tell you this, someone who at least talks about what needs to get done is more respectable than that contraian nikka who sits on the sidelines and hates. At least that "militant" knows what time it is and has some passion for the hopes and ideals that we as a people have. Perhaps you pessimistic docile nikkas need to grow a backbone....or stop being the overly agreeable weak ass nikka.

Throw that "militant" label in the bushes, it just enables that white "Hey take it easy, you're racist for thinking i'm racist" bullshyt playbook they try to pull on blacks who hold them accountable for their underhanded racism. A black person who understands white supremacy and speaks on it frankly, should never be called a damn militant by another black person. You saying that shyt makes you somewhat suspect, because who's interests are you really looking out for in using that label?

My problem with coli "militants";

• Polarizing; you're either a "c00n" or it's "CAC" this, "CAC" that. Ya'll have no middle ground. And ya'll are quick to marginalize anyone who criticizes you.
• Inaction; I'm sure a good 90% of these guys do nothing but go to work and hangout. Let ya'll tell it; thecoli is running a secret underground movement ready to liberate black people from the hands of the"CAC." But, ya'll, for example, will disrespect Dr. King--who actually did things--for his religion and calling for non-violence. Ya'll criticize celebrities and ball players for "not speaking up" wwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more than you do politicians (who's actual job is to serve the people). And when you'll get on a politician, it's always President Obama (only because he's black and visible). It looks like ya'll don't know what you're talkin' about and don't really understand how politics work--nor even know any names of your own local politicians.
  
• Misappropriation of history; ya'll pretend we live in the worst time, ever, for black people. What's goin' on, in Ferguson, MO, was goin' on all the time when my Grand-daddy was my age. We're lucky. We have the work of our elders to work on top of. But, coli-millitants play victim all day.

My real problem is ya'll have become a caricature of what "pro-black" should be.

It's not hatred and disrespect. But, peace and building.

"Hey, I'm organizing this...let's come together"
"Hey, I started this business to help black kids..."
"Hey, I've found a great resource to provide mentor-ship..."

In reality, it's a ridicule tactic to pretend the person who is actually speaking out about societal issues is a lunatic while simultaneously upholding white supremacy.
