Like I told y'all in the other thread. You CANNOT have intelligent discussions with sub-intelligent minds. It's never gonna work.

If someone shares an opposing point of view they get attacked by these arm chair militants. There's no rationalization. It's either you agree or fukk you; but it's not just "fukk you, we disagree and let's leave it at that." It's "fukk you and I hope your mother dies from cancer, while sucking your dad's herpes infested dikk" It's either a defense mechanism or their brains lack the capacity to reason and tries to make up for it by way of insult. That's besides the fact that they argue based purely on emotion with very little logic applied. Then there are the trolls and the sheep that cannot form their own opinions. They have to wait for someone like Tommy or Tariq to replace their batteries, then off they go to spread their newly installed opinions and updated black women bashing protocols. We can all learn from each other, but you can't educate people who think they have all the answers.. you try to argue with fools and you're just gonna end up looking stupid. However, there are a lot of intelligent posters here that are willing to have reasonable discussions, and share ideas about solutions to the problems that plague the black community, but they don't bother because they already know how it's gonna turn out, so they just watch from the sidelines... why waste energy? Those that do bother just keep going back and forth with the same group of posters every week and nothing changes. If we can have well thought out discussions then I'm all for it, if not.. I got better shyt to do.

Militant is used as a pejorative by small-minded people who believe the connotation of being pro-black is negative.

The reality is, everyone else is militant except black people for the most part. The mentality of being for your own community first and foremost is something that most non-blacks do automatically, so it being a label amongst black people shows how weak it really is.

Any person that thinks a black person is silly for caring about the general well-being of black people, wanting to establish a black-controlled economy and who financially and/or personally supports that is an idiot not worth debating.

Show me what your life is like, and ill respect what youre saying.
What steps are you taking to better yourself?
How can you make the situation better, other than complain about shyt you cant do anything about?
What are you doing to get out of this system?
How much experience do you have w/ life?

Thats all its about (for me anyway). I just see complaining...but you dont get results from complaining.

I've noticed this militant term has been used by quite a few posters on here. It's used to marginalize those to speak frankly on race issues and are in favor of black empowerment. Why is that a negative? People talk about all sorts of shyt here on the coli, but when black posters talk about racism in a real way, and try to make it clear for those with their heads up their asses...they get labeled as militant? I can understand white posters doing this, because it's in your best interests to protect white supremacy, i'm not talking to you. But to my fellow black posters, I'm gonna need your attention here.

Some of you nikkas who throw this label around need to ask yourselves, do you stick up for yourself as a man? As a woman? Or do you let people get over on you, and are thus resentful or those who who don't, and those who keep it real on race issues? Are you quick to belittle a nikka, but then don't stand up to some cac who's being an a$$hole to you?

I'll tell you this, someone who at least talks about what needs to get done is more respectable than that contraian nikka who sits on the sidelines and hates. At least that "militant" knows what time it is and has some passion for the hopes and ideals that we as a people have. Perhaps you pessimistic docile nikkas need to grow a backbone....or stop being the overly agreeable weak ass nikka.

Throw that "militant" label in the bushes, it just enables that white "Hey take it easy, you're racist for thinking i'm racist" bullshyt playbook they try to pull on blacks who hold them accountable for their underhanded racism. A black person who understands white supremacy and speaks on it frankly, should never be called a damn militant by another black person. You saying that shyt makes you somewhat suspect, because who's interests are you really looking out for in using that label?

I wouldn't call myself a "militant", but I guess my thoughts of certain topics lean to that. Few thoughts.

-Outside of things like weaves, I personally don't get the hate for black women. And yeah, I too have seen these comments strangely coming from some pro-blacks.
-I never got the fascination with white women either so I agree that pro-blacks who are into that should calm down with that.
-The same people throwing "militant" as insults shouldn't talk. Sensationalizing whatever point they had in their posts with insults and pretend-c00ning will cause blacklash. Two wrongs don't make a right.
-I also don't like the stereotyping. For example, a post in this thread said "militants" want to hang Beiber when I just don't want blacks to associate with him or at least don't be so quick to defend him. And that black church accepting Donald Sterling. And blacks hanging around Anthony Cumia, etc. The lists go on. Doesn't mean I want anyone hurt though, so calm down.
-And to the people saying "you're all just talk", what are you realistically expecting? Something as simple as not having a white boss, or something like a fukking pro-black activist living in Africa? I've got nothing to hide personally, I don't associate with people who act funny or rude around my kind, but that's easy to do with the mixed area I'm in. And I work with and for African immigrants.

They don't wanna look bad in front of their white co-workers...or other white people. They get nervous around other black people and prolly treat em like aliens. And think that getting white acceptance and c00ning and grinning and dismissing any positive black thought will help them.
