Black Thought is my GOAT. He has one of the most expansive vocabularies in HipHop, can effortlessly switch between battle raps, punchlines, conscious raps and is always consistent with the flow.

I've been saying that on this site for the longest. Thought is one of the most versatile, sophisticated, underrated, and under appreciated MC's in the game. In my opinion he is one of the most openly kept secrets in hiphop. People know his songs, they know his face, but they don't know him. He is one of the few MC's I like that switch styles and cadences effortlessly while spitting lyrics that are complex and yet simple at the same time. No one does that as good as Thought. Maybe I'm a little biased here because I know him on some level, but Thought to me is top 5 all time.

It doesn't matter if he doesn't have a solo effort. There are MC's out there who would kill to have the classics he has under his belt being apart of the Roots crew. Although I think it would be dope to see a solo album from him away from the Roots, he would have a certified classic working with Alchemist, DJ Premier, Madlib, and 9th Wonder. That's just me though.

I'm going with Ghostface & Scarface. I mostly enjoy every single album both of them have made their entire careers. I do The Fix is mad overrated & Wizard Of Poetry only half clicked with me but in the grand scheme of things those 2 are the logical answers.

I remember black thought had words for Nas too. Thought has always been one of my favs but Im going to have to go with Scarface from his work with Geto Boys to his solo discography.

AZ is most consistent imo --- only material by him that was kinda EHHHH was his N4L mixtape (average at best) - but AZ's been more consistent than Nas who he's always compared with
