Only supplements with mad research behind them are:
- Caffeine
- Creatine

Also, since it's just a macronutrient and doesn't need research:
- Protein


Anything else is not really starter status, not worth your time/money, or simply doesn't really work.

Unless you're zinc deficient, as shown by lab test and can't obtain more zinc through diet, then, no, you don't need zinc.

Maca root doesn't have any concrete studies (AFAIK) proving that it's beneficial for humans to take. Safe? Sure. But researchers don't even fully understand how it works. No.

  • A visit to your PCP

Depends on which supplements you are referring to.
