A man came up to me outside a grocery store talking about how he just got put out of the hotel he was staying at and needed help. I gave a begger a $10 bill cause I was feeling really good and wanted to pay it forward.

IDK if the person was lying about their situation but it kinda felt good to give back.

anybody else gave back and what made you want to?

I bought a homeless man a slice of pizza and a drink. I'm sure that ran me atleast $5-6 dollars maybe a little more :ld: I end up seeing him at the mall again maybe 6 months later and talked to him but was feeling like :comeon:. Talking about he got no family and was going take his life. Bruh now I see why ppl be ignoring y'all. Trying to run game on those with good intentions

Probably $100. I used to take money out my account every pay day to give to the black homeless people I'd see in Atlanta. Unfortunately it's a lot of them out here and that shyt is heartbreaking to see.

These dudes must be very committed to their lies because the ones I usually give money to never asked for money or I see them eating out the garbage can.

I saw one dude that was probably 25-28 years old that was digging through the trash at MacDonald's. I bought him food and talked to him for a while and that shyt was sad to see. One wrong turn and that could have been any of us breh :wow:

I haven't seen him since but I really wanted to try and help dude get back on his feet.

:lolbron:

I have 2 stories about food purchases.

1: Guy outside convenience store at my old college. He asked for $ for food, but I only had CC. So I said I would buy him some food and asked what he wanted. He then started a long list "chips, snicker, another chips, another candy, a drink, beef jerky". :dwillhuh: Not about to buy you $30 of gas station food. I said "I can't get all that, how about a chips and a snickers?", he said "a chips and a soda?". So I got him chips and a soda. :dame:

2: I'm walking out walmart, snacking on my great value beef jerky. He asks for $ for food. So I'm reaching into my bag to get some of the peanut butter crackers I had purchased. It looked like I was going to give him some beef jerky, so he said to me "I'm a vegetarian". :usure: You're begging outside walmart for $ for food. You aren't a vegetarian anymore. :stopitslime: I still gave him crackers though :manny:

I gave a few bucks to a woman holding a baby saying she was homeless and hungry. I later found out the baby was a doll smfh :francis:
Another time I gave a homeless guy w/e was left in my purse and I saw him go buy drugs immediately after. So I stopped giving money and started giving food to them, but that got deaded when 1 guy told me he didn't eat chicken when I handed him my leftovers from a restaurant :wow:
So now my way of giving back is thru volunteering and working at a shelter

My friends and I were feeding the homeless at this park and I saw plenty of young dudes out there. One even had some Foam's on but I wasn't judging because I didn't know his story. I saw one couple with a newborn baby. A wrong decision or an unexpected event can really put you in that situation.
