I don't agree with the three superstars to win a ring is the only way angle. I think Morey has sort of bottlenecked and isolated himself into that mold of thinking. There's more than one way of winning. There has to be balance. If u going put it all on the stars than u better have some strong minded stars. Cuz from what we seen a lot to times the heart and soul of the team isn't always the best player in the team.
The biggest issue I abbé with Morey is his emphasis on you don't need a great coach to win a championship. That borders to close to the cowboys and Jerry jones fiasco where it seems like the gm wants more credit and the coaches credit for winning a ring than the coach.
I maintain that last season the bigger issue with the rockets was Mchale. He can't coach. He comes from a time when the more talented team won. It wasn't as technical and strategical back then as it is today. Mchale simple is an outdated coach.
