Hell
They really did though....... $2600 in direct stimulus the original $10,200 in PUA. Then the extended PUA . They should be up like shyt especially of they weren't paying any bills. Not to mention the fraudulent PPP loans and shyt.

mid you we’re on unemployment since let’s say April you got about 20k from the state in the south. That’s not vacation money so if you have rent and a car that’s mostly gone right there.

y’all acting like dudes were getting 50k to chill you basically got 13 dollars a hour to stay home.

Well, it aint ever getting paid back. Sell your property, and get out of real estate.

It’s not that simple tho. Mortgage company will most likely put a lien on the property for back pay and buyers want owners to deal with that before a purchase agreement is signed. If the owner ain’t trying to do all that then they have to short sale it at a loss and take a credit hit which in turn will make it difficult to purchase another property.

Landlords in a lose/lose situation.

The sad part is people gone direct their anger towards people who didn’t even do shyt to them while the politicians and billionaires who created the fukked up system designed to keep them at the bottom remain safe :mjpls:

People too scared and bytchmade to after the actual culprits of the problem who’ve been there all along. If they actually want to solve the problem, then they know right where to go.

Those facing evictions should have enough cash on hand to pay the back rent or make a huge down payment on a home. I know houses have skyrockeed but still
Nah, they took that money and bought 55" tvs and ps5's for every room in the crib, bought everybody in the crib new wardrobes with the thoughts of "yeah, they gonna send out more stimmys, extend unemployment, and suspend rent til this covid shyt is over. We good"

Jail has no rent :manny: makes sense I guess. Take someone’s life because you are a deadbeat that can’t honor your obligation. Sounds like a good plan

Most evicted tenants ain’t going to prison

It only takes one to kill the landlord

Nobody goes to Apple or Tesla asking why their products are so expensive. They’re in it for profit. Just like real estate investors. And yall buy they sh*t without a problem. Y’all got it fukked up. Nobody taking on a mortgage, taxes, insurance and investing all that time and energy to make no money. Y’all losers and have a loser’s mindset. If you upset about landlords....a) move in with roommates b) buy your own house c) buy a cheap mobile house d) move in with your family. Just stop bytching and expecting everyone to give you something :hhh:

This week in TRL we’ve learned...

You’re a c00n if you think Black people should eat healthy and exercise.

You’re a c00n if you think Black people should prioritize paying for their shelter over every other expense.

Our future seems doomed.

A bunch of fat ass out of shape homeless nikkas roaming the streets looking to kill people that did things the right way.

:wow:

One of my clients is a current Bellator fighter who got laid off in 2018 and was working another job as a security guard trying to make ends meet and had no choice but to seek shelter. he had no drug or addiction issues. I found him housing after 9 months of applications/waiting for affordable housing to possibly find a voucher for him.

Another client, who i knew back in high school and he was cool with me, caught a charge for something everyone knows he didint do, including the victim and the state hit him with gang enhancement charges which forced him back in jail....BECAUSE HE WAS LIVING WITH HIS DAD who also was a former gangbanger. They literally made the case that he was in violation of his parole because of gang association when he was staying with his dad and had nowhere to go.

The poor get demonized for the smallest mistakes, and get pocket watched for a 250$ EBT card while countless wealthy families cheat the government out of millions in taxes with no consequence but a couple fines.

Only in the richest country in the world where we could cure homelessness and poverty for the cost of a couple aircraft carriers, but we choose not too, can we look down on those who caught tough breaks and say "WELL YOU SHOULD HAVE DID THINGS THE RIGHT WAY.

This is my last post in this thread and Gator you a good dude its not personal. I am just deeply saddened by the sheer lack of empathy america has for its homeless population, blaming the problem itself but not the circumstance of cause.

"did things the right way" is usually "if i have a setback, i have help from family and or previous wealth/savings".

This is like "you know unlike cam newton and that mac kid, Zach Wilson has a good head on his shoulders, he plays the game the right way".

No, I'm not.

Then I'm trying understand your rational. "The government should be taking care of people" Sounds as if it would be advocacy for a number of things like Rent Forgiveness or a Rent and mortgage freeze. So I'm trying to wrap my head around your thought process

Heaven on Earth
Breh we not talking about investing in the stock market, 401k, etc. We are talking about paying rent, something that has been drilled into our souls since childhood.
The bare minimum since the caveman days. Food and shelter.

Any able bodied man should be able to do this for self.

People giving landlords the :camby: , what do people think is going to happen if the banks take the properties over:dwillhuh:
nikkas don’t understand basic finance.

Wouldn't that make the people in their property homeless too? I'm confused.

Exactly

in some cases they could literally move 10 miles out of town and pay lower. 10 measly miles.

This is the issue that people don’t really wanna be real about.

For example. I have two little brothers. Both millenniums living in metro Atlanta.

One brother claims he HAS to be near midtown in the city. He has to be close to the action, restaurant, clubs, museums, day parties, shopping, and take the train to Atlanta United and Hawks game. He needs to be part of that culture.

He rents a 1 bedroom apartment with his wife for $1600 a month.

My other brother likes all that shyt too. But doesn’t NEED it. So him and his wife bought a 4 bedroom house in Dacula, GA and his mortgage is 1150 a month.

So when shyt goes bad for brother #1 who works in the service industry, he’s gonna be forced to move in with brother #2 in the “boondocks” that invested in an asset and not an apartment with a closet full of Supreme.

Working class Black folks renting in cities like LA, San Fran, New York, Boston, Philly, DC, Atlanta are hustling backwards IMO.

Get yourself a USDA Loan, move out to the country and commute to the city to work everyday like Don Draper. Trust me the “city” will eventually come to you, and when it does you’ll be sitting on a valuable asset.
