So.... move. It ain’t the 1800s when you have to horse and buggy it across the desert for weeks to relocate. Just fukking move

Move to where? An underdeveloped area with no good paying jobs? A red state Trump area where cross burnings and lynchings still commonplace?

I was a case manager at a homeless shelter, most of my clients outside of a few with mental issues worked, in many cases people lived out of their cars. If it were that simple my job and my field wouldnt have even been necessary. I am always amazed at the lack of empathy and sheer "i got mines so fukk everyone else" mentality americans take when others who are busting their ass, in one instance, i had a mom workign 3 jobs and the father worked 2 and they barely were making it, but according to you, the solution is "this aint the 1800s just move". As if cheaper places in america arent struggling as well again, due to wage stagnation.

You dont really see how the capitalist system teaches us that doing the right thing, or feeling anything for anyone not related to you is somehow a "handout" or "people are lazy, stunted on IG with their checks" until you leave america and realize other societies are trying their best to take care of their citizens.

Whats the point of having a society if were not going to take care of each other. Everyone cant be saved, after 11 years in that field i realize that, but alot of yall dont see that if this was a movie, yall would be the heartless, shallow antagonists more concerned with how someone spent a 1400 check than Netflix and Amazon paying nothing as they contribute to the wage stagnation and income inequality i just talked about.

No

No one should give 40 to 70% of their monthly income on a basic place to live. Violence is the only answer to make things reasonable again.

Even something like Covid and the deaths it caused in their families or people they know themselves, a lot of these landlords still going back to their old selves and wanna be greedy dirtbags. we know they got to pay mortgages the same way average people have to pay rent, but do they really have to make rent such a high price? Is it necessary for them to do so?

In California landlords get 80% back of what they lose if they didn’t evict their tenants last year or something along those lines

Why don't people move away from these high prices cities? I know I would if the price of living was kicking my a$$..

Same reason "black people knew that hurricanes come to NO all the time yet they still stayed and katrina happened" its not that simple. Instead of looking at how people are failing in society, take a look at how society is failing the majority of people who are literally one medical emergency away from bankruptcy. I moved to canada because my wife is here and i had some breaks go my way. I suffered a medical emergency here that would have crippled me in america, but here, even with no insurance, 2 surgeries and 5 nights in the hospital amounted to 1100$ canadian. In america when i got shot it was 72k. Again, its not that simple.

Its not..

However, my gripe is towards those who are irresponsible and purposely milk the system.. People like them hurt people who actually need help.. This pandemic showed how humanity is interconnected.. And how bad apples spoil the bunch..

So don't take any of my posts as a shot towards anyone who's doing the best they can and cant seem to catch a break..

Cause They are delusional like those women that call in those Kevin Samuels shows, thinking that they deserve a life of luxury and prestige :heh:

They living beyond their means, and the tenants suffer for it.

Yeah well unfortunately other countries aren't as driven by money and greed like here in America.

It's an everybody for themselves mentality out here and COVID-19 should have shown people that.

Gospel. And that directly will lead to this country's fall. It's ridiculous how money >>>>> in this fukkin country
