The 80's were fun to watch. Yeah we knew who were going to be in the finals but watching the league grow year by year was great. Back then you loved the game and there were no such things as "stans" or "dikk riders". You were "allowed" to like multiple players and teams WITHOUT abandoning your favorite team. The 80's fans >>>today's "fans" by a long shot. It was also better because we didn't know the player's every move, there was a certain respect and mystique even though some things about them were a bit embellished. Heck, even struggle teams were fun to watch.

Co-sign. Even the powder blue Kings teams led by Reggie Theus and Otis Thorpe had their moments. Got a comeback win vs the 86 Celtics :lawd: That was the earliest championship squad I could remember. Bird McHale Parish :wow: I hated those Celtic teams but at the same time, we respected them for I was a fan of those Showtime Laker teams of the 80s
