As far as them not including a charger with the system:
Yeah it's whack and you definitely need it to use it, but toy companies have been getting away with the same exact thing for years with all the "Batteries not included" toys so this doesn't come as a huge shock to me. Out of the box the system will have a little bit of charge so I don't see it the same as if a playstation or an xbox came without the power cord.

Nintendo for this but it is what it is, I'll just grab a charger at gamestop when I go pick my new 3DS up. And who knows, maybe if enough people complain about it Nintendo will do some kind of program where you show your proof of purchase and they mail you a charger if you need one. They definitely made amends with the ambassador program after dropping the price so soon after launch of the OG.
