i havent watched kyle's video and to be honest, i unsubscribed from him months ago, but hell, even i used to make jokes about black non-gender binary, bisexual eskimo lesbian drone operators. the scary part is this stuff works. people think they are good people while practicing neo-colonialism abroad or neoliberal policy at home.

Maybe this country's history would be different if there were more poc in positions of power in government instead of wasps all these decades

I'd like to say that having diverse individuals who are proud of their ethnic heritage work for the 3LA's is how to effect change in those organizations.

I'd like to say that the best way to have greater racial equity in the federal government is to have a seat at the table.

both applicants and heavy recruitment in academia, military, and certain private sector situations. they also approach civilians with certain skills or "access" to become assets instead of employees, which has its own benefits to them.

not apples to oranges, they are both enforcement hands of policies that serve interests above them, so plugging in POCs has little effect.

and that link supports my argument. these jobs either wont hire or will fire people with a conscience. sadly, this also means those you see moving up the ranks have probably done very little to improve the systemic problems, because they didnt rock the boat enough to get fired. that is also why we have been seeing these black cops go crazy or commit suicide in recent years.
