The best overall representation of Batman is the cartoon. Val Kilmer matched the tone of the cartoon.

Batman isn't some spoiled brat who misses his mommy and daddy and puts on a suit and adopts this creepy serial killer voice.

Batman is a dignified, respectable, smooth and complicated guy. Like Batman is like a combination of Howard Hughes, Hugh Hefner and Sherlock Holmes.
Bales Batman just reminded me of an edgy teenager who never grew up and has a lot of money so he beats up criminals and growls at them.
