Exactly. The movie was Great. I loved it being a life-long Dragon Ball fan. It was basically a Homage movie which is why there was that Dragon Ball humor in it. Which is why they had all the classic characters popping up and having an appearance. Bills was the most powerful villain they faced cause he was a GOD. I do agree that Super Saiyan God wasn't as interesting as I thought it would be but it was kinda cool with the Red Hair again. But I liked the movie. It was like watching 3 DBZ episodes in one. Anyone hating on Vegeta dancing or the humor I'm wondering if they watched the series cause the show has always been funny.
I also think people are disappointed Bills wasn't like other Villians. He was a God, he knew he was more powerful then everyone. It was about finding a challenge worthy to face him that's why he took on the Z fighters. But make no mistake, Bills could of killed everyone and destroyed Earth easily. I also liked how the movie kinda tied into GT. I agree that SS4 was dope and people that used to hate on it were wrong. But for me as someone who watched the series as child in the 80's It truely brought me back. I also think people were expecting more action but this one actually had a cool story to it.

People need to watch this 2008 short film cause it ties into "Battle of the GODS". We basically got a total of 4 new DBZ episodes with both this movie and "Battle of the Gods". Remember they are all protecting earth now. They defeated Freeza, Cell, Red Ribbon, Buu and tons of Villians in the movies. The Z Fighters are like the Dons now just resting on Earth. It's really "Peace" time for them. That's why I liked both of these movies cause people came out of nowhere to test them. The only thing I didn't like about Battle of Gods was Piccolo didn't have a bigger part.

Looking back and taking off nostalgia glasses I feel like DBZ is a fukkin' joke. Even the weak nikkas from One Piece put in more work than Z cheerleaders.
