Those where very good films but Goku vs Turles is just....

Real Talk. Remember how Turles blasted Goku at close range in the back with those beams? Straight violent. And I liked their final little standoff at the end.

But yeah, battle of the gods was weak as shyt. There was almost no point of the ssjg form.

I doubt Goku was that hurt from all those blasts. Remember Turles even mentioned that Goku was slightly stronger than himself when he checked his scouter at the start of battle.

nah the movie was straight and set up the continuation of the series decently....especially liked how they show that Goku isn't destined to be the strongest out of everyone....

Nah, in the next movie they will make sure Goku somehow gets stronger than Bills. Or even his teacher and the other god of destructions in the other universes.

Loved "Tree of Might" but there are way better movies than it like these:

If they reboot the series, Cooler, MetaCooler, Broly, and Bojack need their own sagas. A redone Garlic Jr Saga could also be piff.

I never really liked the Buu saga. I would have scrapped it or made some changes. I always felt it should have been Gohan's story after Cell, as someone said earlier, it should have been focused on him trying to become "that dude" to live up and possibly surpass his father. Goten should have never existed. Vegeta shuns Young Trunks and Gohan takes him under his wing instead kinda like in the future timeline. If Goku were to appear it would be short, cameos here and there in the Kai world. That's just my view though.

Bills was funny though. LOL at that nikka trippin over pudding haha. But yeah movie was weak. I never felt like their was a legitamate threat. I thought SSG was going to be an epic transformation like all Gohan's SS2 or Gokus SS1 after being pushed to desperation. shyt was stupid as fukk. Holding hands?

What if Future Trunks altered history just by showing up and Yamcha fathered the present timeline Trunks?
Future Trunks would still be the son of Vegeta in his original timeline, but in the present timeline, he'd be a human.

That way, Future Trunks stays piff and Yamcha gets at least one W in the end.

If we really want Present Trunks to be part saiyan that bad, they could maybe have him get bodied in a fight?

And have to get a blood transfusion from Gohan/Vegeta/Goten?

That way we still get Gotenks

The movie was cool. The animation was top notch. Added another layer to the mythos of how the Kiao-shin work. SSJ 3 is strong but pretty useless in a prelonged fight. The writer tried to make Gohan the hero but the kids wanted more Goku. So he made goten. But the kids want GOKU.
