I know y'all aren't going to agree but Low key I think it will be Tyler The Creator. Has his own label has his own clothing line has a band signed makes beats videos and all that. His money is in a lot of places and he has a strong following.

But I bet y'all won't look past his antics to see what I'm talking about :beli:

@ROFL_GUY
:mjpls:

This is the only one that has made sense to me in this thread. I read an interview with him that talked about music only being one of the things he does and it's what people know him for. He does kinda have the blueprint so far.

OP needs to get this down to a science and work out the commonalities. I wouldn't put Kendrick in the running because he's too new.

Just looking at some of the responses in this thread I don't think people know what the word mogul means :snoop:
Then they say the next mogul and people keep saying diddy and 50. nikkas ain't reading the thread before they post :why:

Drake. Dude can parlay his hiphop success to become Will Smith #2. He has a huge following already. He seems to have an eye for talent and could build a nice roster.

TI missed a chance to become a breakout star. Before his back-to-back jail bids, he has major endorsements from Chevy, etc. Nice run on the big screen. Clothing Line. Now, he is still getting roles on TV and movies. His reality show is making him the hood Cosby. His wife can still pen a few teeny booper hits. He might have missed his "Puffy" level mogul opportunity, but he can do big things.

I meant to say this in my original post but yours reminded me. Am I the only one who has never checked for a rapper or hip hop mogul's clothing line? Not even Phat Farm or Sean John when those were hot.

The closest I've ever gotten is saying I liked Tip's shirt which turned out to be from his akoo brand

Now I think about it, not really. I browse just out of curiosity back in the day when Phat Farm, Sean John, and Rocawear first came out but not since.

none really on the horizon. closest is wayne, but he'll forever be under baby.

mmg has a ceiling of gold, it seems.

good music has an outside shot, but kanye needs to revamp the roster. big sean bricking has them taking a hit. common is old, cudder dipped, john legend is like a distant cousin and the rest of the roster can only hope for gold. per that interview though, kanye is only 20% on music, these days.

maybe tde if ab soul can pop

The MEANEST suburbs in Nothern Ontario, Canada.
I have to agree that Drake will be the next mogul in hip-hop. No other rapper in the history of the game has found a niche to exploit like he has. Drake is going to sign a whole crop of hyper emotional simp rappers one day. He'll start his own label "Hand Lotion Records" and they'll SMASH this current generation with chart killers of endless emotional journeys and heart felt symphonies of sadness. The current generation of silky smooth baby rap heads will eat it up. ...I "can't" wait.

Wow, that was the most back-handed "compliment" I've ever heard. Lol

Tyler is a very off the wall character. I enjoy him as a tv personality more than anything else. He's a cut-up. I can see him having a jackass/punked/snl level type tv show. He is very creative and artistic...he has mogul potential for sure.
Ever seen loiter squad :lolbron:
